The Wavionix technical and sales team were all present to
hear from the users, at first hand, how Wavionix can further
develop and improve its software tools.
This meeting was particularly beneficial as
Skyguide has been a Wavionix user for over five years and
therefore has a great deal of experience of using Wavionix
software for procedures and airspace design.
The meeting was further extended to include a forum for discussion
on the specific issues facing Swiss air traffic and airspace
management experts. This discussion was chaired by Dr. Alain
Geiger, President of the Swiss Institute of Navigation, and
Head of the Satellite Geodesic Group. His activities also
include heading up GBAS (Ground Based Augmentation System)
Procedure Construction & Validation Team in Switzerland.
This provided both the Wavionix Users and the Wavionix Technical
Team with an excellent opportunity to discuss geodesic methods
and approach with Dr. Geiger.
Wavionix actively encourages its users to meet on a regular
basis. These meetings often prove to be an invaluable source
of information exchange, and provide Wavionix with an accurate
overview of what is required from future programming. |
