The global downtown has had disastrous knock-on effects within the aerospace sector this year, and as a supplier of air navigation services, Wavionix has not been immune to these. Unfortunately, ferocious budget cuts and late paying clients have affected us, and we were faced with the harsh and unpleasant task of saying goodbye to some loyal staff-members in order to protect the business.

On a more positive note, the WPD (Wavionix Procedures Designer) suite of software has been extensively upgraded (to Version 6.3) by our Technical Team, and is now compatible with AutoCADã versions up to MAP5 and 2002. Furthermore, WASP5 has been totally re-written and is now capable of handling more that one aerodrome with multiple runways. We will be sending you details of these and many other changes very shortly. We have delivered new WPD Licenses to users in Switzerland, Ethiopia, Egypt, and the UK, and our consultancy and defence-related revenues are now increasing.

To date, Wavionix has trained more than 90 PANS OPS expert. This year we have trained more people than ever, including executives/officers from Belgium, Sweden, Portugal, Hong Kong, Egypt, Ethiopia, Switzerland, and Argentina. We have also provided a greater range of training courses, including the ICAO PANS OPS Course, Complex Terrain Course, Refresher Training and Advanced Courses specially designed for users of WPD .
